Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business Appoints  Jeff Coursen to Chairman of the Corporate and Executive Education Advisory Council

Philadelphia, Pa.—May 9, 2008—Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business today announced that Jeff Coursen has been named Chair of its Corporate and Executive Education Advisory Council.

In his new role, Coursen’s primary responsibilities will be the continued development of the Corporate and Executive Education programs and promotion of the Drexel Executive MBA. He will also serve as an ex-officio member of the Dean’s Advisory Board and continue in his current role of Executive in Residence.
“Drexel has made a strategic decision to pursue the Corporate Education Market, and we look forward to Jeff helping lead this charge,” says LeBow’s Dean Tsetsekos. “His dedication to the advancement of LeBow and his practical experience in the corporate world make him a natural choice.”

The Corporate and Executive Education Advisory Council has 38 members, all well respected senior level executives in the Greater Philadelphia region. LeBow College’s Corporate and Executive Education offers professional and corporate development programs that provide in-company leadership and management development programs for employees in support of real business objectives.

Coursen is currently a managing director of GPX Enterprises, a private investment firm focused on the sponsorship, development and management of selected private equity investments. Coursen is also active in several regional professional boards and non-profit associations, including The Eastern Technology Council Board of Directors; the Drexel University Krall Center Board of Directors; the International Financial Management Association—National Honor Society; the Dana Farber Boston Marathon Challenge; the Philadelphia Boxing Scholarship Foundation; and Squash Smarts, a Philadelphia youth enrichment program
Coursen holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and an Executive MBA from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Busienss. He also completed The Georgetown University Business School Professional Development Program and continues to participate in the Wharton School Executive Management Development Program.
